Churchbridge Credit Union: An Office Made for Growth

Growing as an organization often starts with a simple realization: your space needs to grow with your headcount. For Churchbridge Credit Union, that moment came when their existing office began to feel a little tight. Moving into a larger space wasn’t just about square footage, it was an opportunity to create a workplace that truly supports their team and reflects who they are as an organization.

Churchbridge Credit Union is a community-focused financial cooperative based in Churchbridge, Saskatchewan, dedicated to helping its members achieve their financial goals at every stage of life. Through a full range of personalized banking and financial services, from everyday accounts and lending to long-term planning, they empower individuals, families, and local businesses to grow with confidence. That commitment extends beyond banking: by reinvesting in the community through scholarships, local sports sponsorships, and more, Churchbridge Credit Union strengthens the places its members call home. This member-first approach has fueled its growth from a small local savings and credit group into a trusted regional institution with multiple branches serving the wider community.

With a bigger workplace on the horizon, Churchbridge Credit Union teamed up with Source to make sure every corner of their new office would be put to good use. By working with trusted Canadian manufacturers, Source helped turn their vision into a functional, welcoming space that supports their team, and their mission to serve their members and community.

Space Planning with Intention

For Churchbridge Credit Union, the new office was about more than just adding space. It was about using that space intentionally, creating a workplace that really supports the way their team works. That’s where we stepped in with our space planning service. We worked closely with the Churchbridge team to understand how they work day-to-day, balancing the need for collaboration with areas for privacy and focus.

The resulting layout includes a spacious boardroom for meetings, a comfortable lunchroom designed for breaks and informal conversations, and 15 private offices that give each team member a dedicated space to work. Every area was thoughtfully planned to encourage smooth flow, support daily operations, and allow for future growth as the organization continues to evolve.

Private Offices: Where Comfort Meets Focus

private office furniture

To outfit the 15 private offices, we focused on creating spaces that feel professional, comfortable, and built for everyday use. We chose the Metro collection from Tayco for its clean lines and timeless design, pairing modern finishes with classic colours to keep each office looking polished and approachable. Integrated power at the desk makes it easy for staff to stay connected throughout the day, while custom wall-mounted storage was tailored to the length of each desk to maximize functionality without adding clutter.

While functionality was a key factor, comfort mattered just as much in creating a workspace employees enjoy working in. It’s why we chose the CoolMesh Pro Executive High Back Chair from Performance Furnishings for seating in every office. Designed to prioritize ergonomics, CoolMesh chairs offers adjustable height, seat depth, tilt, and arms so each team member can tailor their setup for lasting support throughout the day. It’s a smart choice for long hours at the desk, helping staff stay comfortable.

For guest seating, we chose the Inertia chairs from Allseating. The wipeable grey vinyl is a practical choice for high-use offices, offering durability and easy maintenance without sacrificing comfort or style. Together, these pieces create private offices that are functional, cohesive, and designed to support focused work and professional meetings.

A Boardroom for Big Conversations

For the boardroom, we went with the Norris collection from Tayco, choosing a custom-sized table that could comfortably handle larger meetings. It’s a big table, but the clean, simple design keeps the room feeling open and professional.

We paired it with Dart chairs from Allseating to make sure everyone has a comfortable seat, whether it’s a quick check-in or a longer meeting. The result is a boardroom that feels welcoming, practical, and ready for whatever the day brings.

Making Members Feel Welcome

As the space came together, the front waiting area also got an upgrade to bring comfort to guests and visitors. Ruhe chairs from Allseating bring a calm, welcoming feel the moment you walk in. The bronzed arms and legs add just the right amount of warmth and polish, giving the space an elevated look without feeling formal. It’s the kind of seating that makes waiting feel a little easier (and a lot more comfortable).

With their new office complete, Churchbridge Credit Union now has a space that reflects their commitment to serving their members and community. Every area is thoughtfully designed to balance comfort, function, and flexibility, creating a workplace that works just as hard as their team does.
