What are meeting and occasional tables?

At Source, we define meeting and occasional tables as smaller tables designed for informal gatherings, collaborative work, or casual use in shared spaces. Unlike large boardroom tables meant for formal meetings, these tables are typically smaller, more versatile, and often found in breakout areas, lounges, lunch rooms, and more.

What shapes and sizes do meeting and occasional tables come in?

We carry square and round table tops that are paired with a variety of legs to complete a look that matches the style of your office. They can be meeting height (29") or bistro height (42") depending on how your team likes to get together. The dimensions can range from 24" to 72" depending on the style you choose.

Do these tables work in high-traffic and heavy-use areas?

Yes. Our meeting and occasional tables are made with high-density laminate and Dura-Edge on the edges to help protect from everyday bumps, scrapes, and spills.

Can I assemble the table on my own?

There will be instructions for how to assemble your new meeting and occasional table. However, for your safety, we always recommend asking a friend or colleague to help you. We also have installation and assembly service that can help you with this step.
